The RAS Heritage Centre holds close to 500 posters in its collection. A substantial portion of these posters relate to the Show, with the earliest item in the collection dating to 1922 and the most recent to 2018. They are widely recognised for their artistic and promotional power. The 1930s was a particularly prolific decade for Show posters, with up to half a dozen different designs being produced in a single year.
