Best Wine of Show Winner List

The Macquarie Bank Perpetual Trophy awarded for ‘The Best Wine of the Show’ was presented for the first time in 1996 by Macquarie Bank Ltd. 

In 2016 KPMG became sponsors of the Sydney Royal Wine Show and presented a new trophy called ‘The KPMG Perennial Trophy for Best Wine of Show’.

The Tucker Seabrook Perpetual Trophy was first presented in 1988 to mark the 150th anniversary of Sydney’s first wine and spirit merchant Tucker Seabrook, established in 1838. Originally presented to the Best Capital City Show Wine, the trophy was renamed in 2022 to mark the 200th anniversary of the RAS of NSW, to honour the legacy of Tucker Seabrook and to celebrate the ‘Best Wine of Show’ each year at the Sydney Royal Wine Show.
